Waterborne building coatings are important products in the field of building materials, and their scrub resistance is a key technical index affecting its functional use. This paper introduces the main factors affecting the scrub resistance of waterborne architectural coatings from both internal and external factors, including emulsion polymer structure, pigment and filler content, film-forming conditions, film-making methods, substrate surface, brush hardness, etc., and compares and analyzes the main test standards for scrub resistance of building coatings at home and abroad.
