Considering the current situation of highway maintenance in Gansu Province, based on indoor and outdoor tests, this paper studies the key technical indexes of foamed asphalt cold recycled mixture and analyzes its applicability in Gansu Province. Through indoor asphalt foaming experiment, the foaming principle and foaming evaluation index were studied. For foamed asphalt mixture, the influence of cement content on the performance of the mixture was emphatically analyzed. The existing molding methods, the problems of curing temperature and the influence on the performance of the mixture were analyzed. Aiming at the single problem of the existing standard design evaluation index, the vibration based molding three was put forward. The residual cohesion index of shaft test is used to evaluate the ability of water damage resistance. At the same time, the laying of field test section lays a foundation for the application and popularization of cold recycling technology of foamed asphalt in Gansu Province.
